In which there is no written examination for you. No written examination is conducted. So, I am going to tell you some latest updates regarding its new vacancies. I am going to tell some important information and in a way, I am going to tell you good news.

Cut-off Confusion and Latest Result Update

Along with this, I will also tell you the information regarding the cut-off in this, because here many candidates have this confusion that at some places the cut-off is very low and at some places the cut-off is very high. So I am going to tell you information regarding this also, and your latest result has also been declared. The latest result has come yesterday evening, in which the fourth list has been declared. Regarding which, as soon as the result was updated yesterday evening, we made a blog and made the information available to you.

Request to Viewers and Comment Information

So friends, you can see here, I am going to tell you all this information. Just read the blog till the end. Which state do you belong to? What is your qualification? What is your percentage of marks in 10th class? So you can tell us this information in the comment box below this blog.

Fourth List Declaration and Result Updates

Now friends, the first information is that all those candidates who had applied their online application form for 21,413 posts and the three lists which were declared earlier, if unfortunately any candidate was not selected in them, then you can check out the fourth list now. This fourth list of yours has been declared by the Indian Postal Department. Yesterday as soon as the result came, we immediately made a blog and made the information available to you first.

Document Verification Deadline

Any notification comes — new notification, latest notification — whether it is about new recruitment, or about the result, or about making any amendment, regarding that, you are immediately informed on this blog. And friends, in this fourth list that has come, the candidates who have been shortlisted, you have to get your documents verified before 1st July 2025. Okay, right? Please take care of this.

Analysis of Declared Lists and Vacancy Rejections

Now friends, things come up here. I will also give you information regarding this cut-off. But before the cut-off, let’s talk about the update of new vacancies, which is a kind of good news for you here. Candidates who are thinking that new vacancies will not come or there is no possibility of coming — there is no possibility — so do not sleep like this at all. I am going to tell you the information here with complete proof.

Shortlisted Candidates Data and Rejection Reasons

Now friends, let’s take an example of this. This recruitment that was announced for you was just now on 21,413 posts. Okay? So friends, please pay attention here that in the first list declared, approximately 21,413 candidates were shortlisted. But please pay attention here that in the second list declared, how many candidates were shortlisted in it? Approximately 12,000 candidates were shortlisted. What conclusion can be drawn from this?

Document Rejection Rate and Remaining Vacancies

The conclusion that can be drawn from this is that most of the shortlisted candidates either did not go for document verification or the candidates who went were rejected in the document verification. Okay? Now the reason for rejection is given here, although they have not told that due to which reason they were rejected. But the point to be noted here is that most of the candidates are rejected in document verification. About half of the candidates are rejected in document verification. Similarly, you will see that 12,000 candidates have been shortlisted in the second list. So after that the candidates must have gone for document verification. So out of them also, about half of the candidates could not be selected. Half of the candidates either did not go or went for document verification and were rejected. Okay?

Subsequent Lists and Vacancy Estimates

So look here, the third list came, approximately 7,500 candidates were shortlisted. After that, your fourth list came yesterday. Okay? Out of 7,500, see how many candidates were rejected? Something like 5,421. Now, out of these shortlisted candidates, more than half of them are going to be rejected. Okay? You can roughly assume that 3,000 something candidates will be rejected or some will not go for document verification. So, from here, 3,000 something vacancies will remain vacant. They will remain vacant. Meaning, they will not be filled.

Vacancy Status and Future Requirements

The total 21,413 vacancies were announced. So, out of these, 3,000 or 3,500 something vacancies will still remain vacant. Meaning, the requirement will not be fulfilled. So, what I mean to say is that the requirement of GDS employees will still remain in the postal department.

Vacancies Due to Promotions

Also, pay attention to one more thing. It is clearly visible that if there are something like 3,000, then more vacancies will remain vacant. Along with this, now see what the Indian Postal Department has done? For PSC, vacancy for Postal Assistant Sorting Assistant has also been released. And what is there in this, which candidates will be able to apply? Those GDS employees who are working in the Indian Postal Department, those who are working for 5 years, 8 years, then they will apply.

Automatic Vacancy Generation and Estimated Increase

Then these GDS employees who will apply their form will get promotion. Suppose for the post of Postal Assistant Sorting Assistant, the post of GDS automatically becomes vacant. If it becomes vacant then this vacancy of yours will also arise. From here your vacancy will become vacant which will be added to 3,000 and your vacancies will increase even more. 800 will be easily available. Isn’t it right? So this vacancy is going to come out for you friends.

Clarification Against Rumors and Eligibility Criteria

Do not think that vacancies will not come. There are many vacant posts of GDS in Indian Postal Department and many vacancies are going to come for you. Do not pay attention to any rumors. If someone says that vacancies will not come out in future, recruitment will not come in future, then do not pay attention to such rumors because many vacancies are going to come for GDS.

What is the qualification right now in this? 10th class pass students can apply. And the age criteria is also good. Your minimum age should be 18 years. Your maximum age should be 40 years. And friends, candidates from all over India can apply for this. Male and female are all eligible. Everyone is eligible.

Fifth List and Possibility of Extension

Here the question arises about the fifth list being declared. The fifth list is not confirmed yet whether it will come at all because your documents have to be verified here. The last date mentioned in this is 30 June 2025. This is the last date mentioned for getting your documents verified or for the list to be declared. If this date is extended later, then your fifth list can come. Even then you will say that 3,000 vacancies will be filled. It is not so. Your vacancies will still remain vacant and due to the promotions they will take, more vacancies are going to come up for you.

Understanding the Cut-off Criteria

Now friends, here the question comes about your cut-off. So about the cut-off, friends, there are some places where the cut-off of some specific categories seems to be very low. Selection has been seen even at 35%. Selections are done at 38%, 40%, 50%, 60% and even 70%. There are some circles where even a candidate with 100% marks is in suspense whether he will be selected or not.

It depends on you. For which division do you apply? What is the number of vacancies there? Which category of candidates apply? Right? And what is your gender? What is your age? There are many factors on the basis of which your cut-off is decided.

Examples of Cut-off Percentages by Category

Look here, I will show you an example which has just been declared in your fourth list. You will be able to see it in it. Look, the comments of the candidates were coming that “Sir, we are from the General category. Even if we have 90% marks or 95% marks, we still could not get selected.”

But if you look here, this is UR General category, selection is being done on 78% marks. UR General people are getting selected around 78%. Here you will see that OBC category is getting selected on 49%. Okay? So it depends on which division you apply for or which circle you apply for. And also look here, SC category is getting selected on 36%. Okay?

General is on 85%. After this, you will see here that General is on 84 and General is on 86. So, it depends on which division you apply for. Okay? And this circle, friends, is the North East circle. Here, a very low cut-off has been seen for many categories.

High Cut-off Circles to Avoid

If we talk about some circles, I will tell you that the cut-off in them is always high. Firstly, your Haryana Circle — whatever candidate is from Haryana Circle, friends, he should not have any kind of expectation of selection in it. If you have 85, 90% marks, 95% marks or 98% marks, then also you do not have the possibility of selection if you come in the General category because the cut-off seen here is 100% cut-off. Now in the fourth list that has come, you will be able to see that your cut-off is 100%.

Also, if we talk about Delhi Circle, friends, here also your cut-off is 100%. Okay?

Better Circle Options and Language Criteria

This candidate is from Haryana Circle and the one from Delhi Circle, it is better if you apply for which circle? For Uttarakhand, you can apply for these. For Uttarakhand, you can apply for Jammu and Kashmir. You can apply for Jharkhand. Because you have the option that you can apply for other circles. The only condition should be that suppose you want to apply for another circle, then you should know the local language of that place.

The local language of that place. So what is the local language of Jharkhand? It is Hindi language. And what is the local language of Haryana? It is the local language. This is also Hindi language. So your local language is common. So if it is common, you can apply.

Circles with Relatively Lower Cut-off

There are other circles too. What is the local language here? Their language is also Hindi. Okay? You can still apply for these and others. Okay? If you want, you can apply for Bihar. In Bihar also the cut-off is less in comparison to these. For UP, if you want, you can apply for UP. Okay? So in this way you can opt out for other circles. If the cut-off is high in your circle. Okay?

In the same way, you will see that in Gujarat the cut-off is a little less, friends. Okay? Similarly, in Assam you will see that comparatively the cut-off is a little less in Assam.

Advice on Circle Transfers and Compatibility

So in this way there are some circles where it is absolutely certain that the cut-off will be high. There is no possibility of selection. Like in Haryana, Delhi. Most of the cut-offs in Punjab have been seen to be high. The Punjab circle also has a high cut-off. On the other hand, Assam, Gujarat, any North East circle are some such circles or Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir. Here your cut-off percentage is a little less.

So it depends on you. If you want to apply for another circle, then before that you should especially keep one thing in mind — that you will have to go there and do the job, do duty. If you are compatible then only you should apply for another circle. Okay? However, later you will get the option after two or three years of service that you can get a transfer from there back to your home state. Okay? So this is the option you have.

Conclusion and Recap of Key Points

So right now, these are the two important things. Firstly, you should keep the cut-off in mind, friends. Okay? In which circle the cut-off is a little less, you should apply there.

The second thing here friends is that new vacancies will come to you because promotions are also happening. Right now there will be promotions from GDS to the posts of Postman, Mailguard, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant. So the post of GDS will become vacant. So your vacancies will arise from here. Okay?
