iQOO Z10 Lite 5G: Sony AI Camera & 6000mAh Phone @9,499*

iQOO Z10 Lite 5G: Today we have a new phone to test which is going to make a special place for itself in the budget segment. This phone is from iQOO. Its name is iQOO Z10 Lite 5G. This is a phone from iQOO’s Z10 series. Earlier, iQOO Z10 and iQOO Z10X were launched in the Z10 series. This phone is a light version, and its price is also light. But looking at the features, it does not seem like a “lite” version.

Unboxing Experience

Now I’m saying this because in this you get a 6000 mAh battery, a big display, a powerful processor, and a Sony camera — and you are getting all these things under ₹10,000. It seems like iQOO is trying to enter the budget and entry-level segment as well.

Box Contents

It’s great to get a cover in a budget phone’s box. Yes brother, if you get a TPU case in the box, then ₹200 are saved. Here is the warranty card, the quick guide, a charger, and a Type-A to Type-C cable. Our device is placed separately.

First Impressions

Now let’s talk about the phone. This is the first look of the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G. From the back, you can see a diamond design. The back design is simple and clean, which is preferred by most people these days. Yes, the back is polycarbonate, and the matte finish helps avoid fingerprints. The frame is also polycarbonate.

When you hold the phone in your hand, it feels big — like a long phone. It’s bold and beautiful. From the back, it looks like a ₹15,000–₹20,000 phone. I would give the design 8.5 or 9 out of 10. What marks would you give? Comment and let me know. Its thickness is 8.1 mm, which is good considering the large battery.

Weight and Build Quality

Let’s check the weight. I feel it’s above 200 grams — not surprising given the 6000 mAh battery. This phone comes in two color variants: Titanium Blue and Cyber Green. It is military-grade shock-resistant and IP64 water and dust-resistant.

Battery and Display

The big 6000 mAh battery is a major highlight — very important in a budget phone. I think in 2025, all phones, whether budget or premium, should come with a 6000 mAh battery as a standard. For a normal user, it can easily last 1.5 days.

The front features a 6.73-inch HD+ IPS LCD 90Hz display. Generally, under ₹10,000, you only get HD+ screens. It would’ve been great if it was Full HD+, but HD+ is the norm in this segment. Watching reels and YouTube videos (up to 1440p) is enjoyable. The brightness is 1000 nits and the screen-to-body ratio is 90.4%.

Physical Overview

It has a 3.5mm headphone jack — a delight for many. Type-C port, power button, volume rocker, fingerprint scanner on the right. The speaker is on the top. SIM slot is on the left. It’s a triple-slot — which is a must in budget phones.

Speaker Quality

There’s a single speaker, and when you turn up the volume, you get up to 200% boost. It’s loud enough.

Camera Features

There’s a Sony sensor in the camera. In photo mode, you get 1x and 2x options (50mm). Portrait shots look very clear. Even the normal photos look good. AI helps enhance 2x shots a bit. The skin tone and edge detection in portraits are great.

This is the best under ₹10K camera I’ve tested so far. Selfies are decent too. Rear camera is 50MP + 2MP dual setup with Sony AI sensor. The front camera is 5MP.

Dual Flashlight

iQOO has included two flashlights — a standard one and a high-brightness one. You can adjust the flashlight level in four steps. I think this is the first phone in the segment to offer dual flash.

Camera Modes and Video

It supports night mode, portrait, 1080p video at 30fps (both front and rear). You get more camera modes in the “More” section. For a budget phone, video quality is decent.

Gaming Performance

You can game on Balanced HD – High, and Smooth – Ultra. You get ~40fps gameplay. For a ₹10,000 phone, that’s impressive. There are light frame drops — expected in this range. The device gets slightly warm but doesn’t overheat. We did a CPU throttle test and the graph was all green.

Processor and Performance

It features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip — 6nm, 2.4 GHz. Very good for this price range. The AnTuTu score is over 434,000. Overall, great performance for the price. Gaming and daily tasks run smoothly.

Variants and Software

It comes in 3 variants. The base variant has 4GB RAM + 128GB storage (LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage). It runs on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, with 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates.

Bloatware and Features

Yes, it has some pre-installed apps and games. You also get features like image eraser, photo enhance, document mode, and screen translation.

Connectivity

It has 9 5G bands, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band WiFi, and USB 2.0.

Conclusion

If I judge this phone by its pricing (base variant under ₹10,000), then my overall experience has been very positive. Stylish and trendy design, perfect for young students. The Sony camera is actually very good for this price. The Dimensity 6300 processor handles daily tasks and casual gaming well. The 6000 mAh battery is a standout.

Based on our tests, the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G has carved a spot among the best phones under ₹10K. But this is my opinion — what’s yours? Drop constructive feedback in the comments. It helps the brand and helps us improve.
