Category-wise Qualifying Marks

If we talk about the qualifying marks for the General category, the highest marks scored by a student is 686. Yes, 686 marks is the highest. Now, let’s talk about the minimum qualifying marks. For the General category, the qualifying marks is 144.
For OBC, SC, and ST categories, the qualifying marks is 113.
For EWS, it’s also 144.
For PWD (General/EWS), the cutoff is 143 to 127.
Similarly, for PWD (OBC/SC/ST) candidates, the qualifying marks are the same as their respective categories—113.

Real Student Example

To give you a real example, one girl scored 542 marks and her OBC NCL rank is 7010. Her All India Rank is approximately 15,900. This means that if your score is in the range of 520 to 550, then you are in a very safe zone. You will most likely get a seat in an MBBS college.
